After intense speculation over some early construction, Energylandia in Poland has announced Rokan, a new Bolliger & Mabillard wing coaster that will open next season in 2027! With a top speed of 72 mph (115 km/h) and a first drop of 203 ft (62m), it will become the tallest and fastest B&M wing and should prove to be an exciting new addition to the variant’s lineup, which puts riders in pods on either side of the track.

The Nordic-themed ride will put riders on a massive purple track that will surely stand out at the park, tempting and teasing riders with its enormous lift hill. With this, B&M will now have nineteen wing coasters under their belt! Though at several parks in the United States like GateKeeper at Cedar Point in Ohio and Wild Eagle at Dollywood, it has proven particularly popular in China where there eight alone.

Though mainstream media articles are trying to fear monger about B&M in the wake of the horrible tragedy on Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia, they are an incredibly highly-reputed manufacturer who, in decades of business with over 130 coasters built, had never seen a failure like that before. Undoubtedly, Roman will be an intense, exciting — and importantly, safe — ride.

The roller coaster scene in Europe continues to improve, and we wish Energylandia the best of luck with construction and opening. We’ll keep you posted if anything else develops!
